Parent and Sibling Support
When a child in a family has a disability or an emotional, behavioral, or learning challenge, the ripple effects throughout the family can be significant. Parents/Guardians may need to negotiate with the school system to ensure their child receives needed services. Simple home routines and family outings that appear so uneventful for other families may be particularly challenging for a family with a child who is highly sensitive or has unique needs. Parents and guardians may feel overwhelmed, isolated, and exhausted. Siblings may feel overlooked or even resentful of the circumstances. Comprehensive Psychoeducational Services is here to address the needs of all family members.
